Campus Youth 1

For players of middle school (ages 11-13) and high school (ages 14-17) who are at a beginner level and have not taken more than two sessions of our Campus Youth class or have never taken group or private lessons before. Players will develop the fundamentals of the game through a rally and game-based curriculum. The focus will be on stroke mechanics, footwork, and the athletic skills needed to play the sport. Players will learn how to keep score, sustain a rally and learn to play quickly. Participation is recommended two days a week.


Campus Youth 2

For players of middle school (ages 11-13) and high school (ages 14-17) who aspire to play on their middle or high school team and for those who want to eventually play competitive tennis. Players in this class have advanced from Campus Youth 1 and are working to further develop their fundamentals to begin to play competitive tennis. The curriculum will be more rally and match play based with an emphasis on stroke mechanics, strategic philosophies, and the athletic skills needed to play the sport. Players will be able to play a match with an understanding of the rules of the sport. Participation is recommended two days a week.


Campus Youth Learn to Play

NEW THIS FALL- Players may add on Friday Youth Learn to Play to any player registered in either Campus Youth 1 or Campus Youth 2. Our Friday youth play opportunies are a great way to put weekly instructional practice into action! We encourage players to take advantage of this practice and play option.


Campus Youth Varsity

This program is intended for players who are ready to participate on their middle or high school team (ages 11-17) and for those who play Junior Team Tennis and USTA FL Level 7 and 8 tournaments. This players has advanced from the Campus Youth 2. Players will focus on developing more sophisticated shot selections, tactics and strategies, as they continue to learn with a rally and match play curriculum. Players will refine their footwork and athletic skills needed to play at a competitive level. Participation is recommended at least two days a week.


Campus Green Performance (Ages 8-12)

Green Ball on a 78 ft. Green Court. Players have advanced through our Family Zone development pathway and are required to have achieved the green ball level on the USTA Florida Youth Progression. The focus will be on singles and doubles ply while building upon the strategies and tactics needed to play the game at a competitive level. Players will experiment with different styles of play and work towards developing confidence in match play situations. Participation is recommended at least 2 days a week.


Campus Youth Performance

This program is designed for players who compete in USTA FL Levels 5-7 junior tournaments and have achieved a UTR of 1.50-4.99. The training program will focus on a long term development plan which requires passion, discipline, and patience from players, coaches, and parents. Practices will feature appropriate playing progressions, proper technique, and athletic conditioning to help players achieve their personal goals. We will have players become independent competitors and problem solvers during match play. Program will include tournament planning, preparation, and evaluations. Participation is recommended 3 days per week.


Campus Youth Match Play

NEW THIS FALL- Players will compete in competitive matches with opponents of similar age and ability with particular focus on strategy and tactics during play. Coaches will provide consistent feedback during play to all participants regarding their patterns of play, competitive skills and style of play. These practice matches will complement the daily training program and are available to all players who participate in either the Campus Youth Varsity, Campus Green Performance, or the Campus Youth Performance class at the USTA National Campus.

There will be no Campus Youth Match Play on September 4 or October 2 due to a UTR event. It is recommend that players in this program register for the UTR event opportunity.
